Continuing Education Disclaimer

Last updated: May 23, 2026

certification.app helps you track continuing education and see how your hours compare to the requirements we have on file. It is an informational and organizational tool — not a substitute for your licensing board's official rules or for professional advice.

certification.app does not provide legal, regulatory, compliance, or licensing-board advice. Nothing in the app is a guarantee that you have met your requirements or that any course will be accepted. You are responsible for verifying your requirements with your licensing board, especially before you renew.

What this tool does

  • Lets you record CE/CEU credits, hours, categories, and completion dates in one place.
  • Stores your certificates so your record stays together across cycles and jobs.
  • Compares your logged hours against the requirement data we maintain for a profession and state, and shows your pacing toward a renewal date.

What this tool does not do

  • It does not give legal, regulatory, or board advice.
  • It does not submit renewals or report your hours to any board.
  • It does not certify, pre-approve, or guarantee acceptance of any course, provider, or category.
  • It does not replace the official rules, deadlines, or determinations of your licensing board.

Requirement data may be incomplete or out of date

Board requirements change, vary by license type and circumstance, and are sometimes ambiguous. We work hard to keep our data accurate and cite official sources, but it may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information, and it may not capture exceptions that apply to your specific situation. Treat what you see here as a helpful summary to double-check — not the final word.

Found something that looks wrong? Please report a rule issue. Accuracy is the core of what we do, and reports from professionals like you are how we keep it right.

Always verify with your board before renewal

Before relying on the app for any decision — and especially before each renewal — confirm directly with your licensing board:

  • The total hours required and any category-specific minimums (ethics, safety, jurisprudence, and so on).
  • Your renewal deadline and reporting cycle.
  • Which providers, formats, and courses are accepted for your license type.
  • Any audit, documentation, or attestation obligations.

No professional relationship

Using certification.appdoes not create any professional, advisory, or fiduciary relationship between you and us. The service is provided “as is” without warranty of accuracy. See our Terms of Service for the full disclaimers and limitation of liability.
